Regional Manager, College Admissions – China Office

It boasts a strong presence in the US consulting market with a tiered service structure catering to different student needs. They are currently hiring for a Regional Manager to lead the admissions team in Shanghai and Shenzen.

Regional Manager Qualifications:
  • Must be a Graduate of a top 30 US University/College
  • Passion for education, foreign cultures, and working with young scholars
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent English writing and editing skills
  • Superb verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently under pressure
  • Experience in education, writing, editing, admission consulting, mentorship, and tutoring is a plus 
Regional Manager Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Manage Beijing team and outlying cities in the northern region
  • Hold weekly service meetings with Team Leaders and Team Managers to communicate service priorities
  • Meet with direct reports weekly to review student meeting agendas, problem-solve any student-related issues and brainstorm unique approaches to motivation, time management etc.
  • Administer quarterly performance reviews to direct reports
  • Review writing quality of team through Mock Admissions and provide concrete and tangible feedback on how to improve applications and writing quality
  • Meet monthly with strategy cases (20-40 strategy cases at any given time)


  •  Contribute to yearly product updates for PO under Education Program Manager’s direction
  • Provide feedback on products from the northern team


  • Contribute to on-boarding training schedule under Education Program Manager’s direction
  • Contribute to the on-going training schedule for weekly team meetings, including working with products and various senior consultants to execute the training topics each week

Marketing & Sales

  • Travel occasionally to outlying cities to deliver marketing seminars
  • Work with marketing team to design seminar content
  • Work with marketing team to develop case studies of successful results
  • Work with marketing team to connect with past students to share their experience with current and potential families
  •  Conduct sales interviews with senior consultants to introduce PO to potential clients
  •  Work with sales consultants to identify and sign PO qualified students
  • Salary: 25,000 RMB/mo
  • Housing stipend: 5,000 RMB/mo
  • Reimbursement for a one-way ticket to China up to 8000 RMB
  • Work Visa sponsorship
  • Basic medical insurance
  • Year-end performance-based bonus: Up to 20% of annual salary
  • Airport pickup
